Punchbowl Waterfall Photos
Click or tap on an image to browse the available photographs of horsetail waterfalls. For these photographs, a punchbowl waterfall is broadly defined as the
pressurised ejection of water through a constricted channel into a circular pool below. Punchbowl falls resemble a round bowl of fruit punch being filled with liquid
poured from above. As you would when pouring punch, the water going in a punchbowl waterfall is not supposed to touch the side of the bowl. Genuine punchbowl falls
are relatively rare compared to other waterfall types. Images are arranged
alphabetically by country, region and waterfall name. If you want to find out more about these waterfalls,
a full description of each photo location is provided on
Waterfall Seasons - The Waterfall Guide. I have personally visited all of these locations.
